Recipe by: Bread Machine Baking: Perfect every time Prepare apple filling before you start bread

Filling:* Place all the ingredients in a small saucepan and cook over mediu heat, stirring constantly for 5 minute. Cool to room temperature.

Directions: Place all the ingredient s except the yeast, poppy seeds, and oil in the machine. Place the yeast in the dispenser (recipe is written for use in large Panasonic or National only). Program for Variety Bread and press Start. When the beeper sounds, you have 20 minutes to complete the next step and return the dough to the machine for the second rise and baking. Remove the dough to a lightly floured board. Remove the kneading blade from the machine. Use a pair of scissors or sharp knife to divide the dough into 12 equal pieces. Form each into a ball, then, with the palm of your hand, flatten the ball into a circle. Place 1 tablespoon of apple filling into the center of each ball and bring the edges of the dough up and aroung to enclose the filling. DIp each ball into the oil, then in the poppy seeds. Place the balls back in the machine in 2 layers. Press Start to resume the processing.

ONLY for the Panasonic or National!
